Palmer Asia Inc. with the assistance of EN Plus Limited Korea donated a Rescue Truck with a wide array of tools and equipment for different emergencies to the people of Sta. Cruz, Marinduque. The project is a brain child of Kharen P. Grimaldo, Manager of the Fire Rescue and Emergency Division of Palmer-Asia Inc. Ms. Grimaldo saw how her Kababayans suffered last year because of an unprecedented heavy rains that caused floodings in Sta. Cruz, Marinduque. She saw the lack of equipment of the local government as a main cause of the delays in the rescue efforts to save many Kababayans affected by the floodings. Ms. Kharen asked some friends in Korea if they have a rescue truck that they can donate. Fortunately, EN PLUS Limited Korea was able to source a rescue truck that they were able to send to the Philippines. Palmer-Asia Inc. provided all the rescue and emergency tools and equipment that are needed for typhoons, floods, earthquakes, fires and other disasters. The ceremonial turnover was held last October 21, 2021 at the Palmer Manufacturing Building located in Paranaque, Metro Manila. Honorable Mayor Antonio Uy Jr., Mayor of Sta. Cruz, Marinduque accompanied by his wife accepted the donation on behalf of the people of Sta. Cruz, Marinduque.
