Marine Safety Division (MSD)
Certified by American Bureau of Shipping (ABS), Bureau Veritas, Nippon Kaiji Kyokai (Class NK),
Maritime Industry Authority (MARINA), and China Classification Society (CCS).

The mission of the Marine Safety Division (MSD) is to serve the Maritime Industry, by promoting Health, Safety, and Environmental Protection, through providing operational Survey and Re inspection, and Rehabilitation of Fire Suppression System and Equipment, as well as, Marine Life Saving Equipment of vessel, domestic and International.

It is the policy of the division to provide quality services promptly in support of Palmer’s mission, and to be responsive to the requirements of the maritime industry, while monitoring its activity for continuous improvement.

To achieve this mission, the division adheres to the standards of the International Maritime Organization, Safety of Life at Sea, (IMO SOLAS), Maritime Industry Authority (MARINA), American Bureau of Shipping )(ABS), Nippon Kaiji Kyokai (Class NK), Bureau Verita (BV) and China Classification Society (CCS), and Manufacturers.

MSD Products and Services are: Fixed Fire Suppression Systems, Fire Fighting Equipment, Lifeboats and Rescue Boats, Inflatable Liferafts, Resuscitation Devices, and Personal Floating Devices.
