How can one spread the message of compassion that Jesus came on this earth for? That is the most important question to ask ourselves while entering into the Christmas Season. Let us not forget the true meaning of this special occasion. Each year we always have something memorable for the employees to show gratitude and gratefulness. Here in Palmer-Asia, Inc., we celebrated Christmas at the relaxing Brazilian Heights Club House in Muntinlupa City last December 15 which suits our Hawaiian theme perfectly. We started with an opening prayer, singing of the National Anthem and recitation of our Palmer Credo. Our President and CEO Mr. Angel “Andy” Palmiery briefly discussed Palmer’s achievement for 2017 and reminded everyone of the company’s core values: HARDWORK, INTEGRITY, MERITOCRACY and SOLIDARITY. The employees were divided into different color groups. blue, red, yellow and green. Each group showcased their talents in singing, dancing and acting. We had games, raffles and gift-giving. And most important of all is the solidarity, love, sharing and generosity of everyone which is the true meaning of Christmas. The highlights of the event were the lighting of the Advent Wreath, together with the Reading for the Third Week of Advent, awarding of the outstanding employees presented by our COO Mr. Mervin Distor and the heart-warming speech from our President. We ended the night by singing a Christmas carol hand in hand that shows the abundant love and unity of all employees of our beloved PALMER. It was absolutely a night of decent fun, delightful and jubilant Christmas Celebration of ONE TEAM, ONE PALMER! Apart from decorating the Christmas tree, exchanging gifts and wearing new clothes, we must not forget the great lessons taught by the birth of Jesus Christ. It has been rightly said, united we stand. Don’t live as an individual but live as a company of individuals. So that in any situation, you will not be alone to fight it out. But you will be with a group of people who will support you with courage and integrity. This is PALMER-ASIA, INC. greeting all of you a BLESSED CHRISTMAS and a FRUITFUL & SAFE NEW YEAR!!! Goals are defined to be the output of effort; an endpoint of where and what you desire to achieve. Having a clear set of goals are important to someone who strives to succeed— more so to a company that aims to make its brand known; to consistently gain and grow. These goals, however, may not be possible to achieve alone--after all, “teamwork makes the dream work”. Last June 10, 2017, Palmer-Asia took a day to remember these goals in line with the value of team building at Shercon Resort, Batangas. It was the first time Palmer-Asia Inc., held an activity like this. The day was gloomy, although that did not affect the employees’ excitement. Upon reaching the venue, they ate breakfast together and the facilitators warmly welcomed everyone. The teams were formed in a random order so that everyone could get a chance to know each other. These were labeled as the colors “red, green, yellow, and blue” teams. Everyone enjoyed the challenges; also rappelling and zip lining too. They may have gotten tired, but their expressions were the opposite. It’s as if they didn’t break a sweat because everyone was overjoyed with the momentous occasion. It is the fuel that allows common people to attain uncommon results." -Andrew Carnegie "Unity is strength . . . when there is teamwork and collaboration, wonderful things can be achieved." -Mattie Stepanek The day was not only filled with athletics, but the CEO of Palmer-Asia Inc., Mr. Angel Palmiery, had given the employees a motivational talk too. He discussed how the company achieved its goals for the past months and shared his thoughts for the company’s future goals. His talk summarized determination, cooperation, and trust— basic virtues a person should carry that are essential for teamwork. Team work is critical when it comes to aiming for the same goal. Equal efforts should always be practiced. This was emphasized throughout the day by how they played each game together. With the lack of one person doing his/ her job, they would not be able to accomplish their goal. As the day ended, Palmer-Asia Inc., felt the need to give thanks for being able to communicate with one another. They were thankful for each other’s’ presence at Shercon Resort. It surely was a memorable day for everyone  Last May 20, 2017 (Saturday), Palmer 's Executive Committee had a Team Activity designed to help the Team Members to pray and to bond..
Second stop, Mall of Asia, Pasay City, Lunch Time! So we took lunch at the Modern Shanghai located at the 2nd Floor Main Hall of the SM Mall of Asia, We also played Bowling the SM Bowling Alley. We took note of the assignments of each one of us for the rest of the fiscal year. It was a wonderful and fun day. FIRE SAFETY MONTH: PALMER ASIA INC LAUNCHED “HINTAY REFILL” @ BRGY. March is Fire Prevention Month; Fire is crucial for the development of human society, and it has become an important part of human civilization. Among different types of disasters, fire constitutes a significant threat to life and property in urban and rural areas. Here, Palmer Asia Inc. with coordination of Brgy. Blue Ridge A, Quezon City last Saturday (March 11, 2017) conducted a seminar about the important details on How we avoid Fire in our surroundings, especially in our own properties. Then, we proceeded in Demo Area to demonstrate How to use Fire Extinguisher with care and give tips to apply.
After all the activities for the day, The Fire Extinguisher itself of the participants’ were refilled by our Manufacturing Department, They refilled numerous Fire Extinguisher on the spot and sold a good number of Brand new Fire Extinguishers. We are much overwhelmed to thank Brgy. Captain Gabriel C. Legaspi of Barangay Blue Ridge A , to welcome and joined us in that important event. Also the people from Palmer Asia Inc, were Ms. Marife Lar Cantara (FPD South Luzon, Branch Head), Ms. Connie Grey (CSD Supervisor), Ms. Rica Mondejar (Telemarketer), Ms. Reggie Anne Madla (Marketing Officer), together with the Manufacturing people, start with Mr. Lloyd Vincent Nervades, Mr. Raymond Licardo, and Mr. Micheal Bausin , and our Driver sir Angelito. This event will not make it without those people. We are looking forward for the next event happened in Palmer Asia Inc. because WE Save Lives, Protect Properties and Preserve the Environment. Thank you Reggie Anne Madla Marketing Officer Last December 16 the company celebrated Christmas at the Palmer Asia Center located at East Service Road Paranaque Metro Manila. It was an astounding success and it was able to accomplish the intended results of bringing the employees, friends and supporters together to prepare for the coming of Our Lord Jesus Christ. The event was graced by the CEO and COO of the company as well as all the managers, assistant managers, supervisors and all the employees of Palmer from all the different locations and sites where the company operates. The pastor of the neighboring Baptist Church delivered the opening prayers which was followed by the national anthem and the recitation of the Palmer Credo. The President/CEO delivered the SOPA (STATE OF PALMER ADDRESS). He reported the highest sales in the company's history although the net income was lower due to the expenses in one of the projects. Nevertheless the company's overall performance was the best in all aspects. The hidden talents of the Palmer Employees came out in the Palmer Got Talent competition. The best and loyal employees were amply rewarded. It was indeed the most memorable Christmas Party in the history of the Company with plenty of prayers, clean fun and joy! A Blessed Christmas and a Joyful 2017 to ALL! Palmer-Asia, Inc. in joint venture with its partners in Qatar - Nautical Marine WLL and Palmer Gulf Trading and Contracting joined the 5th Civil Defense Exhibition & Conference held in the newly constructed Doha Exhibit and Convention Center in Doha Qatar, The event was officially opened by HE Sheikh Abdulloh Bin Noser Bin Kholifo Al-Thoni Prime Minister and Minister of lnterior of the State of Qatar. There were many exhibitors from around the globe with the biggest names in the Fire and Security Industry in attendance. It was a triumph for Palmer so much so much so that many members of the large Filipino community in Qatar visited the Palmer booth. The Consul General of the Philippine Embassy in Qatar congratulated Mr. Angel P. Palmiery for being the first Filipino company to put up an office in Qatar. Palmer-Asia, Inc. decided to join this prestigious event PHILCONSTRUCT. The said exhibit is all about promoting all kinds of building, home construction & materials and security and fire equipment. We are also fortunate because this is a immense improvement in collecting leads and where and who we are and what we are. The affair lasted for four tiring and exciting days and was manage by the following five organizers PHILCONSTRUCT Events, Exhibitions & Conferences Corp., ACEL (Association Carriers & Equipment Lessor Inc.), PCA (Philippine Constructor Association, Inc.), PSVARE (Philippine Sociaty of Ventillating, Air Condition & Refrigerating Engineers. And event manage by Global-Link Exhibition Special Inc. As your Marketing it is not easy to management handling this massive event. It took me long time to prepare this kind of occasion. It’s a serious matter processing all the preparation what is needed but in the end it is fulfilling and wonderful experience that we at Palmer-Asia, Inc. joined on this 4 day affair.  The 4 days of Exhibit: Day 1: The exhibit proceeded last October 08 to 11, 2015. When the first day of the event on the 8th of October started we are a bit excited and nervous although we predict that few people will attend on a Thursday affair but we and the other exhibitors are checking ourselves if we are ready. The first day of exhibit begins at 2 o’ clock in the afternoon, but the last 3 hours of October. 08 became more intense because we are caught by surprise of how many of the guest came in our booth. Due of the non-stop communicating with the people and we became very tired and thirsty. And some people were shocked to know that we are also showcasing our CCTV’s, biometrics, proteco gates, while people learned about it some rushed to give their details to our SSD.  Day 2: On the Second day of Exhibit, Friday of October 09, 2015. The same group of Palmer since the first day. A lot of potential clients and other entrepreneurs arrived to inquire our Palmer products until the last hour of the exhibit a number of individuals continue to pay a visit and eager to find out our suppression systems. I’ve notice when the closing time comes to a close some guest did not want to leave our booth their reason is they want to know and learn new things of our equipment and materials that they will need in their homes and business. The guest who watched our audio visual presentation learned about our fire extinguisher Halotron is different from our firex products and they began asking questions on our Halotron and realized how special and important the Halotron to be considered in their safety needs. But still several people came and want to learn about our Suppression Systems. I am delighted since individuals are convinced that they should have the necessary gears for their selves, family and to their business. Some signed up for the inquiry, some leave their business card, some just took our business cards, and some just took the brochures.  DAY 3: October 10, 2015 day 3 of the PHILCONSTRUCT 2015. A very tiring day event for us because of more people came, so more concerns and more inquiries.
Day 4: The last day of exhibit October. 11, 2015 more visitors came in to our exhibit but we are all proud that we end our event successful. So successful the event organizers decided to extend the exhibit for 1 hour, people continue to visiting our booth asking the same questions, giving their contact details and some bought few fire extinguishers. But the one hour extension is not enough because the guest are still inside the exhibit we started packing-up around 7:30pm. The important thing is to keep the public informed that Palmer-Asia, Inc is here to Save Lives for their homes, Family and business. Mr. Angel "Andy" P. Palmiery led the gift giving to the poorest families in Barangay Ipil, Sta Cruz, Marinduque in a recent out of town activity. The event was held in cooperation with some prominent alumni of Sta Cruz Institute Batch 1975. The gift giving activity was attended by over a hundred people and was held at KABISERA RESORT in Barangay Ipil, Sta Cruz, Marinduque. It was a success and was held as part of Palmer's Outreach Program.   Palmer-Asia Inc. started its Sportsfest Festivities last Friday September 11, at the new Sta Rita Sports Gymnasium in Paranaque City, Metro Manila.  The event is being held as part of the training of PAI employees on UNITY, SOLIDARITY and TEAMWORK with the end in view of serving the customers in a better way.  In our effort to provide service to more customers, and consequently promote safety and save lives, Palmer has successfully installed a big advertisement along the South Luzon Expressway (SLEX) featuring its Top Rated Fire Trucks. The ad is located in the Eastern Side of the Southwoods Exit of the SLEX when you are headed South. The advertisement has resulted in many inquiries and sales of Palmer Products.  |
